Berisha attacks ambassadors

The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, declared that the Socialist
Party not only did not give a chance to Albania for the EU Candidate
Status by not voting the laws, but according to the PM, they are also
trying to misinform the citizens that the next elections are a condition
for the status, and not the three laws.

Berisha indirectly criticized the German and Dutch Ambassadors, who gave declarations about the status and the elections.

“You constantly look for everything that can damage the integration process. The Council of all EU Foreign Ministers gathers and presents as request the fulfilment of the three EC requests, and you don’t quote the 27 Ministers, but the confused declarations of another ambassador who doesn’t express the opinion of the European Council, which is always expressed through the President of the EU”, Berisha declared.

PM Berisha added that because the Socialist Party refused to admit their fault for blocking the status, highest European officials are giving frequent declarations to explain the decision of the European Council.

“The foreigners must come every three days to read the conditions and tell you to not damage Albania. They do it for you, with the biggest regret. They don’t want to see a political force as the cause of bad things for their citizens. They cannot see that in Europe there is a political force that damages the integration, because this hasn’t been made even by the most extreme parties of Balkan”.

According to Berisha, the blocking strategy and the four year campaign of slander, made by the Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, will end with the elections of 2013.

“You’ll be defeated because of your daily lies. You have turned into a machinery of daily slanders. You must go over the interests of your party leader, because I can guarantee you that he will never be able to see the Prime Minister’s path this way”, the Prime Minister declared.
