
The Prime Minister of Albania, Sali Berisha traveled yesterday to New
York to participate at the general debate of the 66th session of the UN
General Assembly, where he will hold a speech in a plenary session.
The Prime Ministry press releases states that Berisha will meet hi homologues and international personalities that will be present at the UN General Assembly.
Berisha will attend a meeting with the US Deputy Secretary of State for political matters, Mr. William Burns. Berisha will also have a special meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Kosovo, headed by the President Atifete Jahjaga.
Prime Minister Berisha will also participate in several forums and meetings, such as the launch of the Partnership for an Open Governing, organized by President Obama, the Summit of the Balkan Leaders, the Forum Clinton, and the UN Forum with the private sector and representatives of the Albanian Diaspora.
