
The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, was present at the first day
of the Statutory Congress of the European People’s Party, held in the
Romanian capital, Bucharest.
Berisha held special meetings with the Italian former Minister, Franko Fratini, the deputy Chancellor and Foreign Minister of Austria, Spindelegger, and the Prime Minister of Finland, Mr. Katainen.
The Congress discussed the reations of the President and the General Secretary, the presentation and discussion of the new platform, which makes this political group more attractive for the European future.
They also discussed and voted the membership of the Kosovo Democratic League Party. Berisha met the KDL leader, Isa Mustafa, and congratulated him for this important step.
Mustafa thanked the Prime Minister for his constant support at the EPP.
