The chairman of the Albanian Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has warned of a protest in front of the Parliament on the day of the approval of the budget.
“The approval of this budget will be accompanied by a strong protest around the parliament where citizens, pensioners, farmers, small businesses will have their voice on the day of the biggest robbery in the parliament of crime,” said Berisha in a press conference, referring to the Rama government.
The former prime minister said that the PD will present the amendments in the commissions and the plenary session, but according to him “they will not be accepted by the government as the goal is the maximum looting of this budget by criminal organizations”.
“Their presentation is a solemn obligation to the Albanians in their defence”, Berisha added.
The DP opposition chairman also declared that the civil disobedience will continue in all its forms, calling the protests the “Archimede’s lever”.
“Civil disobedience remains Archimedes’ Lever for restoring the free vote to Albanian citizens. For the establishment of the technical government and the return of the free vote for the Albanian citizens”, said Berisha.
