Berisha, Albania bringing wise men to life

The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, accompanied by his wife, has
followed the tradition of visiting the Geraldine Queen Maternity in
Tirana, to congratulate the first child born for the year.
The Prime Minister met Aleksander, the first child that was born in this maternity, and greeted the first newborn in Albania, who came to life in Durres.
“I wish that Aleksander will celebrate the 200th anniversary of independent Albania. He was born on the first day of the 100th anniversary. In Durres was born the first child in Albania for this year. I wish him a lot of joy and health. I wish that he will also celebrate Albania’s 200th anniversary”, Berisha declared.
When notified for the first births, the Prime Minister declared that since the two newborns were boys, the country was bringing to life wise men as the big Albanian patriots that raised the flag, using the entire symbolic with the first day of the 100th Albanian independence.
“The first thing I thought when I heard about these births, were that today were born Ismail Qemali, Hasan Prishtina, Isa Boletini. Albania brought to life the most famous men”, Berisha declared.
