Berisha against seizing of Agon Channel: “ORdered by Rama for being critic”

The former Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, criticized the seizing
of Agon Channel, as one of the assets of Francesco Becchetti. He said
that this action has been ordered by Prime Minsiter Rama, since Agon was
criticizing his work. Berisha said that Becchetti should be
investigated, if there is any violation.
“This TV was able to face Edi Rama with force, for every mafia activity of the government eader. Everyone who has laundered money should be prosecuted, but giving a special arrest in advance, without the court even verifying it, is not the case. The current Director of the Fight Against Money Laundering Department is able to accuse any Albanian citizen of money laundering, for political benefuts. I accused him, I asked the Prosecution to look into all the options of what has been said about it, because he enabled Szakashvilli and his suspicious activities announced by the bank. We saw the connection of Ajola with Dzakashvili and now it is clear that there should be an arrest. But they arrest someone else so that people can forget that story”, the former Prime Minister declared.
