
With 18 votes in favor from the left-winged Councilors, the Berat Municipality passed today the draft-budget for 2012.
The Councilors discussed about the economic assistance and some other decisions for the environment licenses.
A series of questions were made by the councilors for the investments during 2012, a point that has been discussed through harsh debates. Only after 30 minutes, the Mayor and his staff were able to give an answer to the right-winged Councilors’ claims.
On the other hand, the right-winged Councilors voted against this budget, arguing that it doesn’t include the citizens’ interest and doesn’t bring any novelty, no new jobs and no infrastructure improvements, leaving even the number of businesses unchanged.
The arguments of the left-winged Councilors were quite different, and they voted the draft-budget with 18 votes.
