The Health Minister, Ilir Beqaj, is suing once again the opposition
leader, Lulzim Basha, insisting that the court should put him on trial
for slander.
The request was filed this Monday, five days after the criminal court suspended the case with the argument that the involved party was not involved.
The legal representatives of the Health Minister say that the court has taken an unjust decision.
“You will see after 10 days what we are looking for. The Court was correct. We were 1 minute late and they suspended the case”, said Ardian Visha.
The opposition leader is sued for a declaration released on November 2015, through which he accused the Minister of Health for affairs with tenders mounting up to 31 million EUR.
