Beats wife in courtroom

Blerim Metaliaj has punched his wife in front of his minor child, making her bleed inside the courtroom and a few minutes after the attack he was chained and sent to the police.

The intervention of the police was immediate, probably because of a recent incident involving a citizen being beaten by the Mayor of Kukes during a civil trial.

The court says that the divorce was filed by the husband, Blerim Metaliaj, resident of Babrru. This suit was filed on June and the first sessions attempt reconciliation between the couple.

The wife has stayed for some minutes at court and then went to the Police District 1 for clarifying the circumstances. Sources from this Police District say that Blerim Metaliaj was arrested, while the woman has said that she was systematically beaten by her husband.
