Basha takes oath today as new Tirana Mayor

Tirana Municipal Council will meet today with its 55 councilors, 28 from
the majority and 27 from the opposition, for electing the council
leader.
Lulzim Basha is also expected to take his oath today as the new Mayor of Tirana.
The opposition will boycott the oath ceremony in sign of protest.
Basha won his mandate after a series of controversies, with CEC opening ballot boxes and after many reviews from the Electoral College.
