Basha: Rama, jealous for our projects

The Prime Minister’s declaration for reviewing the Tirana Boulevard
project was commented by Mayor Lulzim Basha, saying that Edi Rama is
respected as a citizen in Tirana, but he is not Mayor anymore.
“Rama has an early jealousy for the public projects in general, and also with the Tirana Boulevard project. But this is a personal matter. Now he will be respected as a Tirana citizen, but he is no more Mayor. I was sorry to hear him talk with the same language used a few years ago with the Nation’s Road, which he called “The Road to Nowhere”. This is a project of well-being, of employment, and we will complete it within the given time. If he has forgotten the limits of the law and the Constitution, we will remind them to him every time”, Basha declared.
As regards the failure to hold the Municipal Council meeting one day ago, the Mayor declared that it is time to remember that the Municipal Council belongs to the citizens. Basha released this comment during the inauguration of the work for the urban evaluation of the former train station area.
