“For the last two years, the Democratic Party has denounced the criminal
ties of Edi Rama. We have denounced the epidemics of extortion,
dynamite, threats and kidnappings. Edi Rama and Saimir Tahiri are doing
everything possible for Shullazi to not tell what he knows. They are
doing everything possible to sabotate this investigation. This is
shocking, but true”, Basha said.
The opposition leader reiterated that the trial against Shullazi is a turning point for the justice reform.
“The trial is a test before the justice reform, to give hopes to the Albanian citizens, that the ties with the crime cannot be above the law”, he said.
Basha returned to an old request of the DP for leaving Saimir Tahiri, and the reason, according to him, is that it is the only way for a normal trial against Shullazi.
