
The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, focused on the elections of
June 21st, saying that dirty money were used to buy votes. He said that
the international partners in Brussels and Washington are scandalized by
the Prime Minister who appointed people with criminal records in
important posts.
Basha said now it is up to the Albanian people to react and take their fate on their hands. He said that the only way to change course is decriminalization.
“This is the first step for the new democracy. We want to pass this law with consensus, by reflecting with the work of the parliamentary groups”, Basha declared.
Basha reiterated the accusations against the Interior Minister, accusing him of helping the drug traffic. Basha accused Prime Minister Rama of hitting the small business with the operation against informality and favoring his clients.
