Basha: Let’s stop this budget

In a meeting with the opposition Parliament Members, Mayor Lulzim Basha declared that the opposition will support the protests against the unjust tax increase, against increasing poverty and unemployment, which, according to Basha, are the clear projects of this budget.

“The citizens and the interest groups are talking through our voice, and they will talk strongly in the Parliament. But they also have the Parliament of the city squares and protests, for which they will have our full support. Together we should say “no” tot his crisis project that will make every Albanian pay more, and that no only doesn’t create new jobs, but it will destroy thousands. We should act before it is too late”, Basha declared.

The opposition leader declared that the Budget of 2014 is “unjust, arbitrary, arrogant, filled with solutions that will bring an economic and financial catastrophe”, Basha declared.

The Democratic Party says that this budget damages everyone, but, according to the opposition, the unemployed are those who will be hit harder.

“The draft budget is against the unemployed. It tells them to be hopeless. This is the verdict of the Revival that promised you 300.000 jobs”, the Democratic Party declared.

Basha considered the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama,  the man that lied to the Albanian people to take their votes, and that now is experimenting very dangerously with their future.
