Basha invites investors in USA

During his visit in US, Basha met the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Europe and Asia, Jau Burgess, the Deputy Executive President of the US Overseas Private Investments Corporation, “OPIC”, Mimi Alemayhou, and the Board of Directors President of the Albanian-American Development Fund, Michael Granoff.

Basha presented the projects of his vision for a new Tirana. He mentioned the strategic projects, such as the construction of the tram line, the extension of the main boulevard, the construction of a new train station, etc, which could be implemented by US companies that have already expressed their interest. According to Basha, the consults will start on February 10, initially with the Interest Groups for the Tirana Urban Plan, in which are included some of the strategic investments for the Albanian capital.
