Basha: Albania turned into a drug airfield

For the Democratic Party, the Prime Minister’s declaration on the
Divjaka case is a lack of responsibility and offense against the
Albanian people, and that is why the Prime Minister should leave his
duty.

The DP leader, Lulzim Basha, held a press conference three hours after the Prime Minister’s declaration, and asked the government once again to resign, saying that they are turning our country into a drug-traffic airfield.

“Rather than resigning, reflecting or apologizing, the Albanian people heard the pathological hate against the opposition. He said that the airplane was set up by the ‘dark forces’ against him. According to him, the Italian pilot put his life in danger and will stay in prison, together with the other trafficker, just to bring Rama down”, Basha declared.

“Mr.Rama is not offending the opposition, but the entire Albanian people. The electoral campaign is over. The DP  will do everything for Albania to receive the status. We are not the ones to withhold the status for three years by not voting the laws. We will vote any law that is related to integration,      but the Prime Minister wants us to shut up while our country is turning into a drug-traffic airfield”, he added.

The opposition asked once again Rama’s resignation, a request that will be repeated in the protests that they have warned.

“Be a man and accept your responsibility. Resign and unblock the democratic life and our country’s integration, or you will face the citizens”, Basha declared.
