The leader of the opposition, Lulzim Basha, answered positively to the
invitation of the Socialist Movement for Integration leader, Parliament
Speaker Ilir Meta, who will meet him this Sunday at 11:00 at the Rogner
Hotel.
Sources from the Democratic Party did not give any further details about the format of the meeting, but we know it is about the justice reform, which the DP refused to accept and the SP proposed to vote it without them. The SMI said that its inclusion in the Parliament’s agenda was a misunderstanding, and they will discuss it now with the opposition leader. The only condition set from the Parliament Speaker, was the time factor, since there is no more time left.
Meta’s invitation was made two hours after the US and EU ambassadors met with Meta, and after Edi Paloka accused the Parliament of falsifying the agenda.
