The recommendation of the European Commission found the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, in Germany.
This Tuesday he was in a hearing session with members of the Commission for European and Foreign Matters.
According to Basha, the purpose of this meeting was convincing the German CDU/CSU group for passing this recommendation, making way for the accession negotiations.
“The concerns are related to the fight against drug, corruption and real implementation of the judicial reform. This is the task we have today and the most difficult part of this mission is here in Berlin, to convince the members of this Commission who are more skeptic about opening the accession negotiations”, Basha declared.
Basha recognized the contribution of one of the members in this Commission, Paul Ziemak, leader of the Youth Forum of the CDU.
