The residents of the Bardhaj village, in Shkoder district, protested for the lack of electrical power.

This village has 1000 residents, who say that the problem started after a technical problem at the power transformer, which was removed and wasn’t turned back in the village. Revolted by this situation and the lack of electrical power for more than three weeks, the residents protested on the main road.

The lack of electrical power has also caused the aqueduct pumps to stay idle, leaving the residents without drinking water too. Bardhaj residents threaten that if they will have no electrical power, they will block the national road.

CEZ notifies that the power transformer has been damaged and is under repairing process. CEZ also mentions the concern that most of the residents have not paid the electricity for a long period.
