Bank robbery murder investigation

Police has taken at least 15 people with criminal records under custody,
as suspects for the murder of the cashier and the injury of the bank
security guard. However, there is no concrete evidence for the full
identification of the author.
Meanwhile, experts say that the bank security systems are not enough for facing armed robberies.
“It is up to the banks to decide their security system, but there is not much to do with an unarmed guard. The banks should improve their technologic system, and the state should take the measure for monitoring them”, declared the former Police Director, Shkelzen Rexhepi.
According to Rexhepi, the police is to blame for not being able to control the territory.
“The ways how police reacts are related with many factors, starting from the way how the police is organized on terrain. There is a lack of control by the police forces, their operating way on terrain leaves much to be desired”, Rexhepi declared.
Making a specific analyze of the criminal situation in the country, expert Rexhepi thinks that every police structure in Tirana should access the lists of suspects of all other districts, because many robberies in Tirana are committed by criminals that come from other cities.
“There are many people in Tirana that come from other districts, or who are drug addicted, which pushes them to undertake crimes”, Rexhepi declared.
