Bank Governor held meeting with WB vice president

The Governor of the Bank of Albania, Gent Sejko, received the Vice
President of the World Bank for Europe and Asia, Cyril Muller.

The Governor updated the WB leader with the recent developments in the Albanian economy. He focused on the reforms and measures undertaken for reestablishing the economy, and the positive indicators of the banking system.

Muller valued the Bank of Albania for the special contribution in preserving the macro-economic stability and for consolidating the financial system in Albania.

He expressed his commitment to continue the cooperation with the Bank of Albania through technical assistance and institutional development.
