The recent report about the recent developments in Kosovo, released by
the UN General Secretary, Ban Ki Moon, speaks about the stopping of the
dialogue between Prishtina and Belgrade, intermediated by the EU, which
is said to have created tensions for the part of the implementation on
terrain, due to differences.

For the agreements that have been reached, the report of Ban Ki Moon speaks about a partial or absent success in the regional cooperation, the freedom of movement, the certification of diplomas, the civil registration, the cadastral notes, the integrated management of the border checkpoints and the free movement of goods.

The security situation is considered calm, according to RTK, besides some incidents that took place between the Serbian participants and the Kosovo Police during the Vidovan celebrations on June 28th; confrontations that were initiated by the Serbian participants. The report also mentions the law and order situation, the return of the cultural and religious heritage and the human rights. The report also expresses the appreciation for some concrete results that have come out of the current dialogue.

Ban says that the situation in Northern Kosovo is still delicate and he asked everyone to preserve calmness and vigilance, in order to decrease the chances of destabilization and regression. He says that the Prishtina institutions must lay their hand to the northern population.
