The UN General Secretary, Ban Ki Moon, declared that the return of law and order in Northern Kosovo are vital.
In a meeting with the Kosovo Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj, Ki Moon appreciated the role of KFOR in Kosovo for achieving this goal.
“I invite all parties to contribute for calming the situation. Although there are different stances in the Security Council, all of them support peace and stability”, Ki Moon declared.
The UN General Secretary declared that the meeting with Minister Hoxhaj is extremely important for hearing both parties, after yesterday’s meeting with the Serbian Minister Vuk Jeremic.
Hoxhaj blamed Belgrade for creating interethnic tensions in the North, and also informed Ban Ki Moon about the trade issues with Serbia, which does not recognize Kosovo Custom stamps.
