For the first time after 60 years, an Albanian theater troupe, udner the
care of Angjelin Preljocaj, Noce and La Stravaganza, performed on the
stage of the Serbian National Theater with a very professional show.
The best of this profession in Serbia applauded the performance and valued the work of the troupe. Ada Raspor, a Serbian prima ballerina, says: “He is a worldly renowned choreograph. This was a celebration for the public and we had a very good time”.
Some of the Albanian dancers say they felt very well, that they have been received as by every other public, and they performed the same as for every other public. Ballerina Rovena Shqevi says: “There was an extraordinary reception. We felt like home. It shows that art has nothing to do with politics. It simplifies things and makes them more beautiful”.
“I want to thank the Serbian public for the applauds. I had a very good time”, says ballerina Elda Logo.
This is the first time after so many years, but not the last.
