The EU Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of General Matters
will discuss this Monday and Tuesday about Kosovo and Serbia, based on
the recent agreement achieved in Brussels.
The Foreign Committee of the European Parliament reviewed this Wednesday and Thursday the project-resolute for Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Turkey.
This week is full of visits from different Ministers from the region. On Tuesday, Stefan Fule will meet the Kosovo Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxhaj, and the Kosovo Minister of Integration, Vlora Çitaku. To Kosovo it has been promised that the feasibility study for the Stabilization-Association Agreement will begin.
On Thursday, the Commissioner for Enlargement will meet the Albanian Deputy Prime Minister and at the same time Foreign Minister, Mr. Edmond Haxhinasto. This visit coincides with the February evaluation period on the progress made for the 12 criteria set by the European Commission.
The week will close with the European Summit, in which the final decision for Serbia’s EU candidate status will be taken.
