Bad weather with heavy snowfalls swept the entire country during the
past day. The Ostren, Martanesh and Zerqan communes in Bulqize have
traffic problems due to the heavy snow.
The snow has reached 15 cm, while the temperature has fallen to 2 degrees Celsius.
The heavy vehicles in Elbasan are working hard for unblocking rural axes from, especially in Elbasan-Gjinar and Dorez-Qarrishte.
In Gjirokaster, the snow reached 20 centimeters in mountainous areas, and there have been traffic problems in Zagori, Buz and Frasher.
Storms and heavy rains have completely destroyed the bridge that connects the Buz and Ballaban communes, leaving many high school students without being able to go to classes.
The road in Qafe Llogara has also been damaged, making the police to block the traffic in the area.
