Bad weather, President in Shkoder

The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, made a visit in the Temali Commune,
Shkoder district, as one of the most affected areas by the heavy snow
and bad weather.

President Topi met the head of the commune, Mark Zhuri, and the other representatives of the local administration and the residents. Topi asked to be updated about the situation and the work made by the local administration, the army and the police.

The President asked the transfer of a family in the Vile village of this commune, the members of which had health problems and could not go to the regional hospital centers, due to the blocked roads.

Topi appealed for solidarity and invited the political forces and their supporters to join for confronting the difficult situation, by leaving the political diversions aside.

“I came here to offer solidarity on behalf of the Albanian state and encourage all structures to find cooperation in these bad conditions. All representatives of the political forces in the communes and municipalities should come together without divisions, in order to synchronize our forces and our motivation for coming out of this situation”, President Topi declared.
