Bad weather delays ferries

The bad weather has caused problems with the Durres sea port, bringing a full suspension of its activity.
The only ones that have been able to sail, were the big ships of passenger and car transport, but they have faced difficulties too, with delays of more than three hours.
The sea in Durres has been with very strong waves, which this Saturday reached 30 meters per second. Two of the Bari-Durres ferries that should have arrive at 08:00, were in anchorage process.
The other ferries will be delayed more, due to the troubled sea and the port basin.
The strong wind and the turbulent sea have brought big waves that have caused many problems for the vehicles. The Vlore Brindizi ferry arrived at 08:00, but has not been able to anchor at the port.
Dozens of passengers that traveled from Italy this Friday night were obliged to stay on the ferries, because the strong winds did not make it possible for the ferry to anchor.
Sources from the port have also caused problems for the fishing boats, which have not been sailing for the last five days.
