The of schools and kindergartens in our country do not fulfill the
requested standards in terms of buildings, and for its improvement are
needed 250 million Euro each year.
The experts at the European Commission have finished the 1.5 million EUR project, through which they have inspected all 4796 schools of the country.
The conclusion of this project is that schools in rural areas do not fulfill the standards, and the kindergartens lack of equipments. As for the buildings, the Ministry of Education declared that there is a great need for intervention.
The experts chosen by the European Commission for this project declared that these data will serve to the Ministry for having a complete map of the state of the schools in our country, and for setting the priorities of this institution.
