A 14 month baby has died in unclear circumstances in a Tirana daycare, at “21 Dhjetori”.
The tragedy took place at 15:00, this Friday, when the caretakers noticed that the child had changed its face color while sleeping.
The child was immediately transported to the hospital, but unfortunately died during transportation.
The Tirana police officers have immediately started an interrogation, while the Tirana Coroner is working for the cause of death.
In a phone call for Top Channel, Pellumb Seferi, Director of the Development and Education of Children at the Tirana Municipality, which supervises the kindergartens of the Albanian capital, declared that the child had arrived that morning without any health problem.
The investigators are waiting for the coroner’s report for more details.
