The Minister of Finances, Arben Ahmetaj, said that the government will
include in the Automatic VAT Reimbursement system even companies that
export 50% of their products, not only the ones with 50%.
The Minister says that this will help a large number of businesses, reaching 40% of the exporting companies, rather than 12.8% that used to be before.
The Head of Albanian Finances said that the government has received 400 suggestions from companies, which affect 50 procedures.
The draft that will be sent to the government for approval will soften the punitive measures against some tax violations. These measures will allow companies to fix their problems with unpaid taxes without being punished, and there will be no surprise inspections.
