Although the government undertook extreme measures for cutting expenses,
by not sparing even the categories of people in need, this hasn’t
stopped the public administration from continuing budget
fund abuses.

Director Hysen Muceku declared that the damage made last year was 11.5 million USD.

“The studies showed that 3177 cases of violations mounted up to 1.153 billion ALL, most of which on staff payments”, Director Hysen Muceku declared.

According to him, the abuses were found in the payments of the state administration employees, the management of assets and public investments. According to the Audit Directory, most of the violations happen because the administration employees do not respect the financial laws in power.

“In the management area of funds, assets and public investments, the asset evaluation after investing was not made according to the rules. There were violations in the accountability systems of the financial report, which consist in mistakes with the registration of important transactions, the avoidance of the approved standards and an incorrect presentation of the financial situation in the financial declarations. There have been problems in the implementation of the legal acts, to the point of not implementing them or misinterpreting the laws and Council of Ministers decisions”, Muceku declared.

The Audit Directory declared that last were they have made 2753 audit missions and they have demanded measures to be taken for all violations, giving the respective recommendations.
