Asylum seekers flock Germany

Albanians from both Albania and Kosovo are being part of a huge wave of
asylum seeking in Germany. Kosovo is listed first, Syria second and
Albania third.
The number of asylum seekers from Kosovo is 11729 for March only, then Syria, which is in a civilian war, and then Albania with 3020 requests. Serbia comes third with 2833 requests and Macedonia is listed behind Iraq with 926 requests.
Most of the flux in Albania was registered in the port of Vlore, where citizens from Orikum, Kukes and Shishtavec are leaving their elders at home and start a trip to Germany with the hope they will receive asylum.
The phenomenon was recognized by the Albanian authorities too. The Interior Ministry says the police has removed the right to travel to the Schengen area to 750 citizens.
The police has increased the inspection measures in borders for fulfilling their obligations to the international partners.
The Ministry of Interior appeals citizens once again to respect the Schengen movement rules by traveling with normal documents.
The Interior Ministry underlines that it is absolutely impossible for the Albanian citizens to receive political asylum in the EU. This has been underlined by the Foreign Diplomats, but it seems that fraudulent people who want to make a profit out of them, keep telling them lies that they will receive asylum in Germany.
