Ashton’s Spokesperson: No more tensions

EU appealed Prishtina and Belgrade to reduce tensions and start the dialogue for solving the problems in Northern Kosovo.

“We have had tensions in the past weeks, and we should avoid them. We must return to the talks and negotiations”, declared the Spokesperson for Catherine Ashton, Michael Mann.

The Spokesperson of EU’s highest Foreign Policy official underlined that EU expects to see a quick and essential progress.

“Violence will never be tolerated, and the unilateral actions of both parties are never useful”, Mann declared for the journalists in Brussels.

Meanwhile, Ashton’s envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Rober Cooper, is expected to meet today Kosovo leaders in Prishtina.
