The United States Ambassador to Tirana, Alexander Arvizu, gave the “Act
Now Champion” reward to the non government organization “I Recycle” for
the initiative undertaken in the recycling of waste materials, which
affects the community positively.
This organization shows the citizens how they can pay attention to the increasing problem of waste management.
This NGO has distributed rubbish bins through different parks, roads and offices in Tirana, for collecting recyclable materials.
This initiative was personally supported by the United States Ambassador. Through the “Act Now” page on Facebook, the organizations that carry out projects that appeal positive changes in the community become participants and every month there is a jury that selects the winners.
