Arvizu meets journalists: Pro transparency

After meeting well-known journalists in the embassy, Arvizu expressed his full will for supporting this effort of the journalists in order to encourage and promote transparency.

“I promised my colleagues that we will make everything possible for supporting their efforts, in order to encourage transparency and accountability for the public’s interest”, the US Ambassador declared.

Aleksander Cipa, a well know journalist and one of the people who signed the petition, thanked the US diplomat in Albania for the support of such a significant initiative and for the fact that it is being respected by the institutions.

The reaction of Ambassador Arvizu comes after a declaration of the civil society, through which the activists report the lack of transparency for the widening of the Elbasan Road, which has damaged the green area of the Artificial Lake.
