The Health Service Directory organized the health fair at Koplik, Malesi
e Madhe, in cooperation with the Red Cross and the World Vision.
The US Ambassador to Tirana was also present in this fair. Mr. Arvizu thanked the residents for the warm welcome and underlined the necessity of the education for a better health.
“We are here to speak about the health awareness. What the Corpus of Peace and the US Embassy have been trying to do in the last weeks was to promote the health awareness throughout Albania. Thanks to the Health Minister and Mr. Vasili, the quality in hospitals and clinics has improved”, Arvizu declared.
Arvizu added that it is very important to make people aware of the health care, especially school students. By the end of the meeting, the Mayor of Koplik asked the Health Ministry to open a laboratory for the 60.000 Malesi e Madhe residents.
