Mrs.Marku was appointed one day ago as Prosecutor General, through parliamentary tension. The majority voted with 69 votes in favor, two against and two abstaining.
The voting procedure was done under constant protests from the opposition MPs, who threw tear gas in the Parliament floor.
After this, the Speaker postponed the other matters that were planned for discussion that day.
Outside the Parliament, opposition supporters clashed with the police. Two persons were injured.
