The investigators of the triple murder that took place in the beach of
Vlore have arrested two persons, owners of the “Kalaja” beach, accusing
them of failing to report the crime.

The arrested are Saimir Hiqmet Qamo, 25, and Servet Hajredin Qamo, 54, both residents of Vlore. They were arrested for not reporting the crime and for not giving explanations about it, although they had the legal obligation to do so.

24 hours after the crime, the Vlore Police was able to identify the two shooters who killed three beach goers. One of them, the 18-year-old Leo Osmani, has been arrested by the authorities. He committed the crime together with another person who is still at large.

The police has proved the presence of a second shooter after discovering that the fingerprints on the weapon found close to the murder scene did not belong to the 18-year-old that they had arrested. The police suspects that the murder has been carried out by his friend. The Vlore Police, in cooperation with the Fier RENEA and Immediate Intervention forces, are working for the arrest of the second suspect of this crime that shocked the coastal time.

The shooters took the life of three holiday makers who were not involved in the banal conflict between the two groups of young men, which started after one of the boys from a group of young men from Fier harassed the sister of one of the suspects. The sister asked her brother for help and he and his friend went to the beached armed and shot towards his target, but killing in the process three other people: Serdi Bajlozi, 17; Sokol Isufaj, 34; and Diana Ademi, 53.
