The Section for Economic and Financial Crime, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office of the Tirana Judicial District, has made possible the finalization of the operation codenamed “Bankieri”, in which was arrested the citizen F.N., 35 years old, resident in Tirana.
The citizen, taking advantage of his position as director of a second-tier bank, stole $ 30,000 from a client’s current account.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office, for further action, for the criminal offense “Theft committed by abusing duty”, the police announced.
