Arrest order for Ilir Kumbaro

Top-Channel’s correspondent in London, Arben Manaj, reports that the Prosecution that represents the Albanian part asked the judge to release the arrest order, because this is not a simple extradition case.

According to the prosecution, Ilir Kumbaro has requested political asylum in Britain, in the territory of which he has entered with fake identity, and he has the means to escape justice. According to the prosecutor, his absence is not very comfortable for the Albanian authority.

Kumbaro’s lawyer declared that his client had presented himself at a police station for the registration, in full accordance with his probation, one day ago at 14:00.

The court decided to postpone the case to 12:00 of the local time, awaiting Kumbaro, who didn’t present himself.

The correspondent explained that Kumbaro’s location remained a mystery. The lawyer declared that they hyave contacted the family and hospitals, but his whereabouts remain unknown.

The order arrest has been released, and even if Kumbaro will not hand himself over to the police, he will not be able to continue the legal battle out of prison.

It is interesting the fact that Kumbaro had no electronic device that is placed on people in his conditions for monitoring their moves. His 10.000 pounds warrant will be seized by the British state and his saga now will take a new phase, with many mysteries.
