Arben Rakipi resigned

The reaction of the former President of the Commission of Appeal was harsh, since it damaged the image of the former General Prosecutor of Albania, Arben Rakipi.

Part of Rakipi’s letter:

“In my opinion, the declaration is in full consistence with the violent education that ahs been injected in our stadiums since years, with fixed matches that chose the winners before the activities are even started, with manipulated decisions that are very obvious in the matches of our league, violations during training, which are indecent for the civil education, coming from the manipulators who make the law in football fields through force.

I am not used to such language and traditions; therefore I repeat that I want to keep distance from that level. This position and devotion has been noted in my colleagues, members of the Commission of Appeal.

After reading your declaration, beyond the surprise that came for the precipitancy to make it public before even reading the content of our decisions, beyond the untruth, the low education and ingratitude that characterizes it, I see its content in relation with our decisions and I notice that the inconsistency of the intents to exert the respective duties are evident. I don’t have the formation, the will and the desire to follow your intentions and keep being part of the structures that you have established.

As result, I will never be at that door again.
