Arben Frroku, the main suspect for the murder of former Chief of Police
Dritan Lamaj, was sent this morning in handcuffs to the Thessalonica
Prosecution office.
There he heard the international arrest order based on charges raised from Albania’s Prosecution for the murder of Lamaj.
Frroku told to Top Channel’s correspondent in Thessalonica, Aleksander Marku, that he has a 40 day deadline for the extradition procedures. The same procedures were followed for Jak Jaku.
The three suspects, together with Frroku’s cousin, are waiting to be interrogated by investigators. Frroku said for Top Channel that he was innocent and that he travelled to Thessalonica for his cousin’s trial. Jak Jaku heard the charges for illegal possession of arms and narcotic substances.
