Aqueduct demands water price increase

The Aqueduct Directory in Tirana asked the Water Regulatory Entity a new price increase for water.
The head of the Aqueduct, Sait Dollapi, justified the price increase with the many investments that have been made in the last two years for the aqueduct network. According to the proposition that was sent to this institution, the price in 2012 might hike to 55 ALL per 1000 liters of water, or 22 ALL more than the current price.
Asked about the problems that have been found in the Capital, the Aqueduct Director, Sait Dollapi, declared that Tirana will have non-stop water supply by 2013.
In the declaration for the media, the Tirana Aqueduct Director added that the water price increase request is just and honest, because the new price will be equalized with the production cost and it is affordable by the population and other consumers.
