The Commission of Laws passed with consensus the amends of the Law of
Roads, postponed on request of the Socialist Party Vice Chairman, Fatmir
Xhafaj.
The Socialists had two other requests accepted, according to which they will take information from the Minister of Transports for other amends that will be proposed soon for the Code of Roads. The Interest Groups will be also heard.
The correction of the Commission of Laws has also opened the discussions of the draft-budget, where four constitutional institutions gave their opinion if the draft-budget was sufficient or not.
What caught the attention was the fact that the budget was very limited for building new buildings and their construction was postponed, such as the new Prosecution of Shkoder.
There was a negotiation with the Commission of Laws for the Office of Judicial Budget Administration, fulfilling the demand for adding 15 new posts for judicial secretaries. The two institutions that did not request anything and agreed with the government’s budget were the Ministry of Justice and the High Council of Justice. For the first time, the opposition MPs did not spare their questions, while for the HCJ, both political parties didn’t spare humorous comments.
