Another miner dies in Bulqize

A 53 year old miner died today at the chrome mines in Bulqize. Dilaver Koci was working for opening a 1000 meters deep gallery.
The mineral massive crumbled and killed the miner in the gallery that is being exploited by a private company. The police is investigating on the scene if the safety protocol has been respected. The most common cause of fatal accidents in this gallery is the failure to follow the safety protocol.
Many companies are operating in the Bulqize mine, working with the old chrome galleries. Although the profits are considerable, no visible investments have been made for securing the miners’ lives.
