Annual amnesty, 731 prisoners will be released this Saturday

731 prisoners will be released this Saturday, after receiving amnesty.

The General Prison Police says most of them will be released from the Fier prison, 152 in total; 131 from the Peqin Prison, 117 from Lezha, 110 from Rrogozhina, and fewer from Tirana.

Only nine women will be released from the Ali Demi women prison, while four minors will also benefit.

Elio Laze, adviser at the Prison Directory, said that the State Police has been notified to take measures and guarantee a smooth process.
