On the anniversary of the Kosovo Security Forces, and before the
November 28th national celebrations, the KSF headquarters are opened for
citizens who want to visit military units.
President Jahjaga was among the people who visited the site, where she declared that Kosovo will very soon have its own military.
“The Kosovo Security Forces have a professional level not only for the equipment. We are transforming it even further and very soon Kosovo will start a special agreement with NATO for turning it into an army”, Jahjaga declared.
KSF Commander Rrahman Rama and the Minister of Security Forces, Haki Demolli, said the KSF is ready to become an army.
KSF was founded on November 27th 2009 after the disarming of the KLA.
The highest leaders of the country have also visited the birthplace of the legendary commander, Adem Jashari.
