Rrahman Lumi, the oldest son of a family of emigrants in Greece, originating from Luznia, Dibra, broke a record and was declared the top student at the Polytechnic University “Aristoteliio” in Thessaloniki.
“It was a great joy for my family and my people. I was expecting good results, but not getting the first one”, Lumi says. “These results are something for which you have to work hard every day, every year, from the very first day”.
His success has caught the attention of the Greek media. His brother and father are very proud of him, and they see success as a way to give a positive message for emigrants, wherever they are.
Rrahman, who is one of the few students with maximal results, says that his dream is to become a construction engineer and work in important projects in Greece, Albania and around the world.
