The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, visited one of the victims that were wounded by
the tragic explosion that took place yesterday at the Ammunition
Dismantling Polygon in Bigaz, Skrapari district.
The President showed his concern for the health of the wounded worker, Jetmir Dedaj, talking also with the doctors that are following his case. Topi valued the hard work of the emergency doctors, expressing his gratitude for the professionalism of the medical staff that is taking care of the wounded.
“I have the possibility to express my condolences for the late officer that lost his life. This is a process that we are trying to complete in full accordance with the NATO standards, but normally, as in every profession, especially in this profession, things are very risky. We encourage all the people that are involved in this profession to be careful with their work”, Topi declared.
The president also visited Miranda Dehari, who was wounded two days ago during the dismantling process in Poliçan.
